Thousands of people line up to see the 10th annual Santa Truck Convoy
The Kingswinford charity truck convoy, which started in 2014 by Andrew Day and Rachel Halford Day and later supported by Kim Macklin and Lee Hicks, celebrated its 10th anniversary by teaming up with the Saleem Foundation, and what a celebration it was!
The four hour convoy saw thousands of people line the streets from Bilston, Coseley, Roseville, Priory, Dudley, Russells Hall, Pennsnett, Kingswinford, and Wall Heath, it was an extraordinary sight. The event concluded at Dudley Kingswinford RFC.
Thousands of chocolates were given out, which was donated by so many kind-hearted people, including over 80 truck drivers that took part in the convoy. This was the largest fleet thus far.

RB Fleet Solutions Ltd sponsored the Santa Sleigh which looked incredible.
High Sheriff Award winner Shaz Saleem said: "I have had the pleasure of being part of some amazing moments in my life, but last night, it has to be my most amazing experience yet!

"It was absolutely lovely seeing so many people having the opportunity to take pictures with Santa, the sleigh, and the trucks in Kingswinford after the convoy was completed.
"The event was streamed live on facebook.com/Shazsaleem001 and since has had a combined view of over 28k."
Andrew Day commented: "Thank you to everyone tonight. What a fantastic turnout, and seeing all the kids' faces light up.

"I could just imagine Rachel Halford Day face lighting up looking out the truck.
"We are very grateful for the support from Sgt Ross Treacy and the Dudley North neighbourhood team who ensured the convoy went smoothly. The team even managed to catch, and lock up the Grinch and the Naughty Elf."
Shaz Saleem added: "I would personally like to say a huge thank you to Andrew Day, Kim Macklin, Lee Hicks (Director of RB Fleet Solutions Ltd) and to Gary (Grinch) and to everyone involved for their time in not only putting this event on, but for bringing the community together for an epic night, getting us all ready for Christmas!"

Kim Macklin said, "Seeing the smiles on so many people was priceless.
"Special shout out to Santa, the elves and Deadpool who walked/ran from Bilston all the way to the DK rugby club covering over 20k steps.
"On behalf of the team, we thank all you wonderful people for supporting us.
