Ashley, known for his recent performance "The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin" at Symphony Hall, was joined on the night by some of Access Creative College Birmingham’s own Vocal Artist students; a range of 16-18 year olds currently benefiting from the college’s vital, public education dedicated to encouraging a new generation of music industry professionals, breaking down barriers to success and opening doors to a bright, creative future.

“It was wonderful to see the local community come together to support such a special event and a very important cause. I’d like to say a huge thank you to our talented Access Creative students, Ashley Allen and Band and the Birmingham Gospel Choir, as well as our very own Performance Course Leader, Christina Hoskins, who worked tirelessly to make it happen!” - Zoe Green, Head of Campus, Access Creative College Birmingham

The night was a huge success, with nearly £1,000 raised, as well as food donations, that will be distributed to local people, providing much needed support this festive season. While donations have now closed for the Ashley Allen ‘Gift of Song’ concert, if you’d like to support this worthy cause, you can do so directly through Birmingham Christmas Shelter’s website.
