Throughout December, Lovell has donated, volunteered and gifted goodies to the local community in partnership with the church, to support with combatting loneliness and bringing joy to local families. This forms part of an ongoing partnership between Lovell and the church, which has seen Lovell support several initiatives over the last year.

At the start of the month, the Lovell team took part in Victory Church’s Week of Wonder - an annual initiative that reimagines the community hub as a festive toy shop, where families are invited to visit privately and choose a gift for their loved ones, free of charge. The team visited the church and gifted their time to wrap presents generously donated by the public as well as donating towards the church’s Christmas tree.

Lisa Preston, regional sales director at Lovell, said: “This is the second year we’ve been able to support Victory Church’s Week of Wonder, and it’s been just as rewarding as the first. At Lovell, building communities is a huge part of our work and activity like this is vital to that mission. Volunteering, helping wrap gifts, and seeing the impact on children and families in Rugeley has been truly moving.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Victory Church in support of the local community, and we look forward to supporting the area further as our development, Farrier’s Fold, progresses - providing much-needed homes and helping make Rugeley an even stronger, more connected community.”

Samuel Smith, assistant minister of Victory Church, said: “It was great to welcome Lovell back to support us in our Christmas activity and the time, effort and donations they have offered us is invaluable. Local families rely on organisations like ours for support in hard times and to have help from the community means the world not only to us, but to them too.”

This year’s Week of Wonder is from 8 -12 December, but the support will continue right up to Christmas and well into 2026.
