Rooftop Studios launches Aerial Hoop & Silks — a first for Stone
Rooftop Studios is excited to announce the launch of its brand-new Aerial Hoop and Silks classes, arriving in January 2026 — making it the only dance school in Stone to offer this increasingly in-demand performance discipline. The class will also be running at the studio’s fast-growing Leek branch.
Aerial training has become an essential skill within the professional dance and performing arts industry, with performers expected to demonstrate versatility, upper-body strength, and aerial technique for stage and screen work. Rooftop Studios’ new programme ensures students stay ahead of the curve, boosting both their technical ability and future employability.
The classes will also offer structured accredited exams from age 4, with higher-grade students able to achieve valuable UCAS points, supporting applications for university and performing arts colleges.

Aerial is a highly sought-after skill in the industry, and offering it here means our students can train to a professional level without having to travel outside the area.
