Between now and the end of December, the team at Specsavers in the Cornbow Shopping Centre, is inviting customers to make a donation which will help people in crisis who live locally. A collection box has been set up in-store for anyone who wishes to drop off long-life food items and toiletries.

"Supporting our local community is something the whole team is really passionate about, and as the demand for foodbanks sadly only seems to be increasing, we wanted to do our bit to help those in need," says Nabil Habibullah, store director at Specsavers Halesowen. "If you can help, we’d be extremely grateful. While foodbanks are an essential lifeline all year round, at this time of year it feels even more important to help people who are struggling to make ends meet at the moment."
