Live performance brings joy to West Midlands care home
There was singing, dancing and plenty of laughter at a West Midlands care home last week when a live performer visited to entertain residents.
Residents of Wyrley Rose, a newly-opened home in Great Wyrley, and part of the Macc Care Group, were delighted to join in the active fun by Kiddleydivey, a group which provides specialist music classes for schools, elderly people and those with additional needs.
The session was designed to help care home residents enjoy social interaction and movement, and stimulate minds and bodies through the power of music, using sensory props to encourage engagement and education.

With smiles on their faces, the residents were eager to get involved - and are already planning the next visit.

Bhav Amlani, Managing Director of Macc Care, which currently operates 17 care homes across the Midlands, said: “We were delighted to welcome Eve from Kiddleydivey to our home. She created a warm, engaging atmosphere and encouraged everyone to get involved. Activities like this help build confidence, strengthen friendships within the home and support physical wellbeing through gentle movement. We value our partnerships with local entertainers and look forward to many more sessions.”
