On December 27, Kelly will be hosting a free event for her community. Kelly has started to attend Holy Trinity Church in Wordsley, and when speaking with some of the members she was made aware that Christmas can be a really difficult time for some of her community members. Kelly was determined to ensure that her community are able to enjoy the festive period and wanted to support those who are lonely or low income this Christmas by providing a warm, safe and festive environment alongside a warm meal and toys for any children in attendance.

"I am really fortunate to have a warm, safe environment and food to eat as well as my loved ones around me to celebrate with, that is not the case for everyone and so I am on a mission this year to change that, by bringing that environment to the masses. I really hope that my event helps at least one person to have a better festive period, or feeds a family that may otherwise have gone without this year." says Kelly when asked why she decided to start the event.

Kelly hopes that the event will be the first of its kind and hopes to use @sharedtableco - an account where she shares recipes and meal preps for community members and bakes cakes for her sons local football team to host more of these events and provide even more meals into the community in the future.
