Cradley Heath accountancy firm makes generous donation to Leslie’s Care Packages
A Cradley Heath-based financial services firm have made a generous donation to a voluntary community group that supports vulnerable families and individuals across the Black Country and beyond.
Neal and Co Business Services Ltd, an accountancy and financial advice provider located on Cradley Road, have granted £400 to Leslie’s Care Packages to provide food and essential items for families at risk of or who are experiencing homelessness.
Leslie’s Care Packages offer a variety of parcels, purchased by donations, such as a small food parcel costing £15, a toiletries bag for £8 and a package for babies for £10.
The donation from Neal and Co will now put towards purchasing parcels which will be distributed by the volunteers at Leslie’s Care Packages.
Nigel Kirkham, Director at Neale and Co said: “With Christmas fast approaching and the colder weather most certainly here, those with the least are most keenly in our thoughts. We are proud to support Leslie’s Care Packages and make a small contribution towards the vital work they do in our local community.”
Founded in 2016, by Vi Wood in memory of her late husband, Leslie’s Care Packages is an award-winning, volunteer-led community group based in Stourbridge which distributes essentials like food, toiletries and clothing to individuals and families facing hardship.
Leslie’s Care Packages operates through referrals from trusted partner organisations, including Dudley Council, local schools, support workers, and other professionals.
Our voluntary community group provides practical support to: Survivors of domestic abuse, individuals experiencing homelessness, families in temporary accommodation, people facing isolation or financial hardship, and older people who are living alone.
Every package is prepared with dignity and care, ensuring that those most vulnerable in our community feel supported and remembered.
