Chad, who is supported at Rosedene, a registered residential home on the outskirts of Kidderminster run by Salutem Care and Education, was treated to the supercar experience at Curborough Sprint Course in Lichfield, in partnership with 6th Gear Driving Experiences.

Chad had previously told his keyworker, Kathy, that he had always dreamed of driving a car. While he doesn’t hold a licence, Kathy was determined to find an alternative that still captured the excitement, so she researched a range of driving experiences. She later presented Chad with all the available car options on a laptop at Rosedene.

The decision didn’t take long — Chad instantly chose the Lamborghini as his top pick.

The supercar lived up to expectations, and Chad was beaming after the adrenaline-filled ride, proudly announcing that he would love to do it again.

Kathy Raybould, Chad’s keyworker, said: “It was wonderful to see Chad so excited. When he picked the Lamborghini, we knew it was going to be a special day for him. Watching his face light up during the experience made all the planning worthwhile.”

John Godden, chief executive of Salutem Care and Education, added: "At Salutem, we are committed to supporting people to live full, meaningful, and joyful lives. Chad’s Lamborghini experience is a wonderful example of how our teams go the extra mile to make individuals’ aspirations a reality. We are incredibly proud of Kathy and the team at Rosedene for making this special day happen."
