Hosted in the hospice’s Education Centre, the programme builds on the success of its pilot sessions, which were warmly supported by members of the local community.

Alongside the programme, the hospice has introduced bespoke gift vouchers, perfect for gifting, treating yourself or even for corporate team-building sessions. Vouchers purchased can be redeemed for any workshop in 2026, providing flexibility and choice for recipients.

"The launch of our Creative Workshop 2026 programme forms part of our wider strategy to diversify income streams and strengthen our community connections. By offering these workshops and gift vouchers, we’re creating opportunities for people to support the hospice in a meaningful way, whilst also bringing the local community together around wellbeing and creativity."

The workshops are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, catering to all abilities. Participants can explore new skills, unwind and connect with others in a supportive environment, while also supporting to the vital work of the hospice.

"After the success of our pilot workshops, we’re so excited to welcome even more people to our Creative Workshop 2026 programme," said Lisa Tromans, Creative Wellbeing Lead at The Mary Stevens Hospice. "It’s incredible to see participants discovering new skills, relaxing through creativity and connecting with others in such a supportive environment."

The Creative Wellbeing Programme 2026 is suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike, and every booking supports the hospice in continuing to provide essential palliative and end-of-life care.
