The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton recognised nationally for excellence in attendance and behaviour

ONE Multi Academies Trust is delighted to announce that The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton (TKAW) has been selected by the Department for Education as 1 of 57 RISE Attendance and Behaviour Hub Lead Schools across the country. This appointment recognises the school’s strong track record in improving attendance, fostering positive behaviour, and delivering inclusive education for all young people.

As part of the national RISE programme, TKAW will work closely with schools across the region and beyond, sharing effective strategies, providing expert support, and helping to drive improvements in attendance and behaviour, one of the Government’s four major education priorities.

Senior Assistant Principal & Hub Lead, Mr Manraj Singh Dhillon, shared his pride in the appointment: “We are proud to announce that The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton is now a RISE Attendance and Behaviour Hub Lead School. This reflects our commitment to inclusion, care, and high expectations for all pupils. We look forward to collaborating with schools across the region to strengthen attendance and behaviour and make a positive difference for young people.”

This achievement marks an important milestone for both The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton and ONE Multi Academies Trust. As the school begins its work as a RISE Hub Lead School, it will share its strong and sustained approaches to pastoral care, early intervention, community engagement, and high expectations, supporting other schools to strengthen their provision and improve outcomes for pupils.
