South Staffordshire care home to unveil new first floor with opening event
Wyrley Rose care home, located in Great Wyrley, has announced the official opening of its newly completed first floor after officially opening the home doors in Summer 2025.
To celebrate the home will host a launch event, taking place on Thursday, November 27, between 11am and 2pm, which will bring together residents, families, local partners and community members.
The home will welcome Lisa, Ambassador from the Alzheimer’s Society, who will formally open the floor and guests will also enjoy a special visit from Tom and Cordelle of the Dementia Friendly Barbers, who will be joining the celebration to showcase the positive impact of accessible, confidence-boosting grooming for residents.

On arrival, attendees will be greeted with a glass of Prosecco before being invited to take a guided tour of the new floor and meet the Wyrley Rose team. Light refreshments will be served throughout the event, offering a relaxed opportunity to explore the home and learn more about the services on offer.
Bhav Amlani, Director of Macc Care which operates 17 homes across the Midlands, said: “This is an exciting milestone for our home, the new first floor has been thoughtfully designed to enhance comfort, dignity and quality of life for our residents. We’re proud to welcome the Alzheimer’s Society and Dementia Friendly Barbers to help us celebrate, and we look forward to showing families the warm, supportive environment we’ve created.”
