Whether you're new to trail running or a seasoned runner looking for a change of scenery, the group offers a low-pressure, inclusive environment to enjoy the magic of forest trails.

parkrun organises free, weekly, timed runs around the world. Open to everyone, these events are safe and easy to take part in. The Wyre Forest parkrun winds through beautiful forest terrain with steep gradients and opportunities to spot deer. Junior parkruns are 2km and aimed at children aged 4-14.
Hamish Wood, Recreation Manager at Wyre Forest said: “It's fantastic to have all these running events taking place in Wyre Forest. They're a great way for people to get fit and meet likeminded people, while experiencing the benefits of spending time in nature.”
If you’re planning on running your own route, Forestry England recommend using an OS map (Explorer OL14) which shows all the footpaths and other public rights of way throughout the forest.
