TaperedPlus appoints Will Jones as Sales Director to drive national growth
TaperedPlus, an independent leader in flat roofing design and insulation systems, has appointed Will Jones as Sales Director to accelerate its UK growth plans and capitalise on the demand for upgrading and retrofitting flat roofs to modern performance standards.
West Midlands-based Will brings more than 20 years’ experience in the construction sector, including senior roles in commercial strategy, product management, and business development.
He joins from the A. Proctor Group, where he was Head of Business Development, having previously spent 13 years with Kingspan, progressing from technical roles into senior management positions, including National Product Manager, UK Facades Manager, and Head of Product Management for Continental Europe.
TaperedPlus has its technical design studio in Wolverhampton, together with offices on Teesside.
Originally from Herefordshire, he will head up the company’s new regional sales framework, which assigns each Business Development Manager to a specific UK territory, an approach designed to build closer partnerships with contractors, architects, distributors and system manufacturers, while identifying opportunities for growth.
One task is to accelerate the company’s growing presence in the retrofit and refurbishment sector, a rapidly growing market driven by energy efficiency targets, carbon reduction commitments, improved building safety and evolving regulatory requirements.
Will has built a strong reputation for technical credibility and long-standing customer relationships. His background includes developing specification pathways for flat roofing products, supporting system partners, and delivering CPDs, technical design support and sales mentoring.

Founded in 2014 by Aman Chahal and Rob Vass, the company secured £5.5 million investment from BGF in 2023 to support digital transformation, recruitment and expansion of its nationwide technical sales team.
