James, who trained at Rooftop Studios from the age of 4 and left two years ago to pursue full-time vocational training, is now in his third year at Laine Theatre Arts – one of the UK’s top performing arts colleges. This Christmas, he will take to the stage as Dandini in Cinderella at The Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead; marking a major milestone in his journey toward a professional stage career.

Studio director Laura Keeling says: “We’re so proud of James and everything he’s achieved. He was such a dedicated and enthusiastic student during his time with us – always helping others and throwing himself into every opportunity. To see him step into his first professional lead role is incredibly rewarding, and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way. We can’t wait to see him again so he can share his experience with current students and the team members who taught him over the years”.
