The school’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF) led the proceedings with precision and pride, joined by Deputy Lieutenant Dave Heeley, who represented His Majesty the King. Together, they led the school community in paying tribute to the fallen and all who have served in conflicts past and present.

During the ceremony, the traditional two minutes’ silence was observed following the Last Post, as almost 2,000 students and staff stood together in respectful reflection. Around 150 uniformed cadets took part in leading the parade and service, embodying the school’s values of leadership, respect, and remembrance.

Headteacher Mike Smith commented: “I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone that made this morning’s Remembrance service another awesome event. Seeing almost 2,000 students and staff, as well as around 150 uniformed cadets, stand in silence and respect this morning made my hairs stand upright with complete pride.”
