When Chloe Corbett went through a difficult time and was briefly housed in temporary accommodation, she found the low prices at Newlife’s stores a huge help in her time of need and was also able to access some of Newlife’s services.

And now she’s firmly back on her feet, she wants to help raise funds for the charity.

Chloe took her passion for photography and launched her own photography business earlier this year. Through the business, Moments and Milestones, she is not only making a better life for herself and two-year-old son Oskar, but helping to record special memories for families across the area.

Now Chloe will be offering photography sessions on Saturday December 6, with half her fee being donated to Newlife. For those who may want to book in a photo with their child, whether it’s to celebrate their first Christmas, for a family gift, or something to take pride-of-place in your home, a 20-minute session is priced £25, while a 30-minute family shoot is £40.

Photos for all events and all those moments that need capturing, such as engagement or new baby photos, can be booked with clients receiving every photo taken during the session.

Chloe said: “I shop at Newlife and when I was homeless for a while the prices there really helped me. Now I’m in a position to help them and I’d really like to inspire more people to give back to Newlife too.

“Photography has always been my passion, then after Oskar, was born I was taking his photo as well as taking photos of friend’s children, and it has now turned into a business.

“Now, I just want to be able to give something back to Newlife, because they helped me when I needed it.”

Newlife provides a wide range of services for children with disabilities and their families including the provision of specialist buggies, wheelchairs, beds and car seats, the emergency loan of equipment to meet a child’s changing medical needs, a nurse-led helpline and a loan service of specialist sensory toys, so all children can enjoy the joy of play.

Newlife’s Corporate Partnerships Executive, Laura Povey, said: “When I met Chloe, I was inspired by her story. Newlife helped her when she needed it most and to see how she is now thriving as a businesswoman just shows just how Newlife is able to help in so many different ways.

“The photography fundraiser is a lovely way for Chloe to give back to Newlife and the event will help make memories to treasure for so many people.”
