The final countdown for Lichfield’s much-loved Christmas Fayre is underway
Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce is thrilled that its eagerly-anticipated festive fair will return to the city this weekend.
Running from 10am until 4pm, the festive affair will see Lichfield’s historic city centre transformed into a Christmas wonderland that’s set to attract visitors from across the region.
From artisan gifts, like handmade crafts, and seasonal treats, to local food and homegrown produce, there will be a plethora of stalls for families to browse as a curated programme of festive entertainment helps bring the Christmas joy to life.
The event is organised by Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce and is part of its mission to support and showcase local businesses.

As the final countdown begins, chamber president Ruth Redgate, pictured, said: “The Christmas Fayre is always a highlight in the Lichfield calendar as it brings the city centre bustling to life with local traders, families, and festive cheer.
“This event is about celebrating community spirit and supporting the small businesses that make Lichfield unique.”
Proceeds from pitch fees go directly towards covering the event costs, such as security and facilities, ensuring the Fayre remains a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
And if you’d like to be a trader on the day, there’s still space, but please let organisers know by the end of play this Wednesday.
