IKEA’s iconic meatballs – and more – available for delivery straight to your door

IKEA Birmingham is bringing its iconic Swedish delicacies even closer to home with the launch of an exciting new pilot food delivery and click & collect service. Customers can now enjoy approximately 80% of IKEA’s Swedish Food Market range – including its famous meatballs, pantry staples, and frozen favourites – delivered directly to their door, or available for click & collect at the IKEA Birmingham store. As an introductory bonus, all orders qualify for free delivery (minimum order spend £15) and IKEA Family Members who also use the service will receive a ‘£10 off £60’ voucher* to spend on home furnishing accessories, adding even more value to their order.

The range available within the new service will enable customers to recreate their favourite IKEA dishes at home. Frozen options, including meatballs, plant balls and mashed potatoes, gravy, and lingonberry sauce make it easy to replicate the iconic Swedish dining experience yourself. Pantry staples like crispbreads and IKEA's rich, flavourful coffee are perfect for stocking up, while sweet treats such as Daim cake, cinnamon buns, and Swedish cheesecake bring a little Scandinavian indulgence to your day.

Placing an order is quick and straightforward. Customers can access the service by opening the IKEA app, selecting the Birmingham (Wednesbury) store, and navigating to the Swedish Food Market section to browse and add items to their basket. For those who prefer desktop access, a web-based platform is also available. A minimum order value of £15 applies to both delivery and click & collect services and, as an introductory offer, include free delivery.

Deliveries are available daily, with convenient time slots to suit customers’ schedule:

• Tuesday to Friday: 16:00 – 19:30

• Saturday: 07:30 – 10:30 & 16:00 – 19:30

• Sunday: 07:30 – 10:30 & 14:00 – 17:00

Orders can be scheduled up to 7 days in advance, ensuring flexibility for customers’ busy schedules. The delivery radius covers approximately 10 miles from IKEA Birmingham, reaching key postcode districts within a 20-minute drive. Delivery will also be managed directly by IKEA’s dedicated delivery team, ensuring the same care and expertise customers expect in-store with every order delivered to their door.

Residents within the delivery area are encouraged to use the service and enjoy a taste of Sweden without leaving home. For those outside the delivery radius, customers can still access IKEA’s Swedish Food Market through the convenient click-and-collect option.
