Hagley Art Club's 36th Annual Exhibition to be opened by West Midlands own Urban Sketcher

Hagley Art Club 36th Annual Exhibition is to be opened by Ed Isaacs, RBSA West Midlands very own Urban Sketcher, known for his exquisite, almost fragile, line drawings which explore the architecture, industry and spaces of Birmingham, Wolverhampton and the surrounding Black Country.

The Exhibition, which opens at Hagley Community Centre on Friday, November 21, features work submitted by members of Hagley Art Club, which they have produced over the preceding 12 months.

Most of the work is for sale but members also compete to be awarded the highly commended prizes, judged by the judge, this year Ed Isaacs, and if they fail to catch his discerning eye, they might also win the popular vote, decided by the visiting public.

Visitors can also purchases cards and crafts produced by art club members.

The atmosphere is warm and friendly and has a cafe vibe, where visitors can sit amid the artwork whilst consuming hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes.
