Willenhall Lock Stock takes Best Emerging Festival Award
Willenhall Lock Stock took to the stage to win The MEI Major Events Award for Best Emerging Festival. Held at the prestigious Emirates Old Trafford at the end to the annual International Events Summit. Willenhall Lock Stock shared the stage with eight other award winners including festival, events, and suppliers from huge sporting events to grass roots arts and music festivals.
Receiving the award on behalf of Willenhall Lock Stock Nigel Dutton Director thanked the local sponsors, the artists the fans and team Lock Stock and reinforced the vision of Lock Stock to bring the community together to enjoy a nice day in the park and through out the year support live music and local venues and good causes.
Lock Stock will be busy through November and December with its pop-up stage supporting Willenhall Christmas Lights Switch on, Willenhall Christmas Market and Willenhall Christmas |Festival in Willenhall Memorial Park on Sunday, December 14. All 3 events free to attend.
Willenhall Lock Stock THE FESTIVAL takes place in Willenhall Memorial Park on the first Sunday in September. 2026 will be its 9th year and from just 300 in 2017 it has grown to an audience of over 4,000, three stages and 20 local bands and artists performing. It is a not for profit CIC and ploughs back any monies back into year long projects in and around Willenhall.
Lock Stock will also be hosting its annual Business Sponsors Breakfast on Thursday, December 4, at the Homestead Pub Stroud Avenue Willenhall at 7am where existing and prospective sponsors will hear from the team, fans and artists what difference a sponsorship makes to the day and overall mood of the town.
