Created by Yasmin Lakhan, founder of Twisted Funky Moves, Golden Groovers offers fun, inclusive chair-based dance and music sessions for care homes and day centres. Each visit features classic hits from the 50s to 80s (and beyond), colourful props and plenty of laughter.

“I’ve seen first-hand how powerful music and movement can be,” says Yasmin. “After coordinating activities, I wanted to create something that gets every resident involved whether they’re dancing, clapping, or simply smiling along. Golden Groovers is all about joy, connection and confidence.”

Yasmin, who is fully DBS checked and insured, now delivers sessions across the region and is taking bookings for November and December.
