Sedgley Court to celebrate Diwali with sweet treats tea party
Residents and colleagues at Sedgley Court Care Home in Dudley, operated by HC-One, are preparing for a colourful and festive celebration on Monday (October 20) at 3pm, as the home hosts a Diwali Sweet Treats Tea Party.
The event will bring the spirit of Diwali, the Festival of Lights, to life with traditional Diwali decorations, Indian teas, and a variety of authentic Indian sweet treats. Residents will also enjoy festive music in the background, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.
The celebration aims to provide residents with an opportunity to experience the rich traditions of Diwali, engage socially with friends and fellow residents, and enjoy a sensory experience through taste, smell, and music. The event is part of Sedgley Court’s ongoing commitment to creating inclusive and culturally enriching activities for all its residents.
