Young footballers kitted out for success
Two budding football teams in Halesowen have scored new kits thanks to the backing of Persimmon Homes.
Both the Halesowen Town U8 Belles and Halesowen Town East Under 7s have received sponsorship from the housebuilder.
Though they play as separate teams, both squads sit under the wider Halesowen Town club banner and each has now benefited from Persimmon’s support.
For the Halesowen Town U8 Belles, the sponsorship means new kits for the season ahead. Gareth Adams, who manages the team alongside his day job, said:
“The support from Persimmon means so much to the kids and their families. Having proper kit helps them feel part of something special, and it gives the whole team a real boost.”
Meanwhile, Halesowen Town East Under 7s will use their support to provide kits, winter clothing, footballs, bibs and goals. Dan Mills from the team said: “It’s great to have the support of the Persimmon team and we’re so pleased to have secured this sponsorship. The team is going from strength to strength, so to know we have the backing of local businesses is a huge boost to us.”
