Winter clothing collection launched by AFC Wolves
AFC Wolves CIC is more than just a football club, we are a community interest company with a vision of helping the disadvantaged, hence our launching the Winter Warm Clothing Collection Appeal. we will be collecting hats, coats, gloves and scarves for donation into the community so please look in your wardrobes and see if you have any items you no longer need that can be donated.
AFC Wolves CIC is more than just a football club. Based in Wolverhampton, we’re a community interest company with a simple but powerful vision: to use football as a force for good, bringing people together, creating opportunities, and giving back to the city we call home.
Since starting with just one player, we’ve grown to over 300 participants, running teams from juniors through to men’s and women’s football, alongside Development Centres for boys, girls, toddlers, and players with disabilities. Our work goes beyond the pitch — we run after-school clubs, holiday camps, and community sessions, all designed to make football accessible to everyone, regardless of background or ability.

But AFC Wolves is about more than the game itself. At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to supporting people. For some, that means a place to develop as a player or coach. For others, it’s about finding confidence, making friends, or feeling part of something bigger. We’re proud to create pathways in football, but equally proud of the life skills, employability opportunities, and sense of belonging we help to build along the way.
As a CIC, we reinvest everything back into our work and the communities we serve. That’s why we’re launching initiatives like our Winter Warm Clothing Collection. This November, we’ll be collecting hats, scarves, gloves, socks, blankets, and thermals, which will be donated directly to Wolverhampton’s homeless community. We know times are tough for many, and if the club can play a part in helping those most in need, then that’s exactly what we’ll do.

Looking ahead, our vision is to continue growing AFC Wolves into a hub for football and community in Wolverhampton. That means strengthening our grassroots teams, expanding our development programmes, building more partnerships, and ensuring that the benefits of football reach as many people as possible.
Whether it’s through football sessions, volunteering opportunities, or charitable projects like the clothing appeal, AFC Wolves CIC is committed to making a positive difference in the city. We’re here to prove that football is more than just a game — it’s a way of changing lives.
