Shaz Saleem encourages support for Blood Donation

On the evening of 24th September, Sheriff Award winner and community champion Shaz Saleem donated blood for the 14th time. The Donation took place at the Life Central Halesowen. 

Shaz Saleem said, "Huge thank you to staff of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and NHS Blood Donation. They made the experience very comfortable.

It took 5 minutes and 46 seconds, and a pint of blood was donated. Just 1 donation can save up to 3 lives.

Donated blood is a lifeline in an emergency and for people who need long-term treatments. This is why it's so important we do our bit in supporting one another."
