Jemma was nominated by Julie-Ann Hadley who said the following,

"I wanted to nominate Jemma Louise for her hard work and dedication to all Stray Cats, Kittens Injured & neglected.

Jemma goes out in all weathers at all times of the day & night to be that caring voice, gentle hand & heartfelt love for a terrified Cat.

She is a volunteer unpaid with Stourbridge district RSPCA branch. All the team work so hard & witness such atrocities.

A Cat nursed back to health & found a forever home is their goal.

We adopted our beautiful Lottie from Jemma found on the streets so young too.

Thank you for being that beacon of love & light, Jemma Louise."

The Award was presented by our community champion Lydia Longville from The Bonsai Black Belt Academy, Kingswinford, who said, "It's absolutely amazing hearing the lovely work done by these amazing people, on behalf of Bonsai Black Belt Academy we are proud to present this award to such a fantastic person!"

Shaz Saleem, founder of the charity and award said, "I personally believe it's important to recognise community ambassadors who make our area better for all. Many congratulations to Jemma!"

If you know anyone who lives or works in Kingswinford, Wall Heath, and the surrounding area and deserves to be recognised, please nominate them by emailing me on askshaz@hotmail.co.uk.

This award was founded by The Saleem Foundation and sponsored by the Bonsai Black Belt Academy to recognise local heroes.
