David Harbach, chair of trustees commented: “Age Concern Stourbridge and Halesowen are proud to support the Ageing Well in Dudley Festival and would like to invite anyone interested in our classes to come along to see what we have on offer. We have many classes, activities, an advice service and an excellent cafe which are all available throughout the year.
“The festival is set up to help support wellbeing, encourage social connections and provide those aged 50+ with access to opportunities to continue active lifestyles. This fits perfectly with what Age Concern Stourbridge and Halesowen offers. We have an ageing population but age is no longer seen as a negative life stage - older people now want to enjoy more experiences, continue to learn and remain active, both socially and physically.”
