Rooftop Studios’ student Maria secures place at prestigious Performing Arts school
Stone’s Rooftop Studios is thrilled to announce that long-standing student Maria Kelly (12) has been offered a full-time place to study Musical Theatre at The Hammond – one of the UK’s leading performing arts schools, based in Chester.
Maria has been part of the Rooftop family since she was just three years old, and over the years has thrown herself into every opportunity available. She currently trains in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Singing, Stage Academy, Pointe, Performance Group, RTK and Heels, and is known for her incredible work ethic, versatility, and love of performing.
Her place at The Hammond is a testament to her talent, passion and dedication – and the Rooftop Studios’ team couldn’t be prouder Maria says: “I am so excited to be starting the next step in my performing arts journey at The Hammond. Since starting I have been thoroughly welcomed and am enjoying every part of the curriculum they offer. It’s so much fun!! I also want to thank all the teachers at Rooftop Studios who have helped me and continue to support me.”

Maria is the latest in a long line of students from Rooftop Studios, which has branches in both Stone and Leek, to gain places at the country’s leading performing arts schools.
