Navigate Commercial Finance has seen a near 50% increase in funds deployed through its lender network across the West Midlands and UK. Funding completions have risen by 5% and there has been a 7% increase in total funds applied for.

The firm continues to grow with the team now up to six members of staff and has also received accolades including a shortlisting for Business Money Invoice Finance Broker of the Year 2025 and Adam Cooksley shortlisted in the Insider Young BD of the Year.

Paul Varley, Managing Director at Navigate Commercial Finance said: “Increased business lending paints a positive picture of growth and we’ve seen first hand a reported rise in alternative funding solutions. This has been across a variety of businesses from helping those with their first lending facilities to assisting more mature businesses access enhanced credit facilities.

"In addition we’ve worked with companies that have experienced softened business performance, completed acquisitions or a change of ownership. These are all instances where the right funding solution has given a significant boost.”

"It’s is an exciting time for all of at Navigate Commercial Finance, having celebrated our fourth year of trading and recording strong growth despite a challenging economic backdrop, which continues to create uncertainty for many SMEs.

"Core to our success is our understanding of businesses working capital needs and the long-term lender relationships we have established. Our increased lending figures and rise of revenue close to 40% from last year are strong indicators that the business is well placed to achieve our short, medium- and long-term goals.”

“We’re not standing still either with plans to recruit further in the West Midlands in order to expand our reach with the aim of supporting even more businesses with their funding requirements. Earlier this year we welcomed Ian Gardner who has been an excellent addition bringing a focus to the Lichfield, Tamworth, Burton, Cannock and surrounding areas. Whilst we continue to operate in a hugely competitive sector, we’re now firmly established as an outsourced commercial finance specialist of choice for SMEs across the region.”

Managing Director Paul Varley established Navigate Commercial Finance in 2021 to help SMEs raise finance that is best suited to their needs. The team works directly with businesses as well as a range of professionals including accountants, banks, alternative lenders, and corporate finance specialists to support any of their clients seeking new finance facilities.
