New affordable homes delivered in Staffordshire
A new batch of affordable homes has been handed over to a housing provider in Stafford, marking a key milestone in the town’s housing delivery.
Persimmon Homes West Midlands has handed over 24 properties at its Horton’s Keep @ Burleyfields development to Housing Plus Group.
The properties include a mix of one to five-bedroom homes. They are available for affordable rent and shared ownership, aimed at helping local people access secure, energy-efficient housing in a popular area.
Lee Perry, Technical Director at Persimmon West Midlands, and Charlotte Cartlidge, Project Manager at Housing Plus Group, visited the site to mark the handover.
Lee said: “We’re proud to deliver these much-needed affordable homes and to continue working closely with our partners to meet local housing needs. These properties will provide quality, energy-efficient homes for families and individuals looking to put down roots in the area.”

Charlotte Cartlidge, Project Manager, Housing Plus Group said: “Housing Plus Group and Persimmon have a long-standing relationship for delivering affordable units across Staffordshire and it has been a pleasure to work with them again on the delivery of 24 affordable homes at the prominent Burleyfields scheme in Stafford.
“Available for rent and shared ownership, these units will provide local residents with much-needed, high-quality, affordable properties that they will be proud to call home.”
The handover is part of Persimmon’s wider commitment to working with housing providers and councils to expand affordable housing across the West Midlands.
