Quiz & chips evening for mayor's charity
Wolverhampton residents are being invited to put their knowledge to the test at a special Charity Quiz & Chips night – all to support the Mayor of Wolverhampton’s chosen charities.
The event takes place at 7pm on Tuesday, October 7, at the Mayor's Parlour, hosted by the Mayor, Councillor Craig Collingswood, with popular radio personality Dicky Dodd as quiz master.
Entry for teams of 4 people costs £60 and includes a delicious serving of fish and chips from Wolverhampton’s popular chip shop, The Island House.
All proceeds from the evening will go towards the Mayor’s four charities – Compton Care, Acorns Children’s Hospice, SSAFA (the Armed Forces charity) and the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity.

Councillor Collingswood said: "This is set to be a really fun evening, but more importantly it’s about raising as much money as we can for four incredible charities that do so much for people in Wolverhampton. Every team that takes part will not only enjoy a great quiz and some top-notch fish and chips for just £15 a head, they’ll also be helping to make a real difference."
Places are limited and must be booked in advance. To register your team, email mayoral@wolverhampton.gov.uk or call the Mayor’s office on 01902 554090.
