Paw-some fundraising day hosted at Brownhills opticians
Colleagues at an opticians in Brownhills hosted a fun-filled charity day on Saturday 30 August in support of Guide Dogs UK, raising an impressive £337.
The event, held at Specsavers Brownhills, which is locally owned and run, featured a lively range of activities including a tombola, cake sale, and a raffle to win a designer pair of single vision specs. Customers also took part in a ‘Name the Dog’ competition for just £1 per entry and all proceeds went directly to Guide Dogs UK.

‘We had such a fantastic day and are incredibly grateful to everyone who came along and donated,’ says Specsavers Brownhills store director, Mohit Verma. ‘It was wonderful to see the community come together to support Guide Dogs UK, a charity that’s close to our hearts. The generosity shown will help make a real difference to people living with sight loss.
