A fresh coat of care: Kidderminster home invites locals to experience first look at renovation

A care home in Kidderminster is set to unveil its stunning makeover.

On Wednesday, September 3, from 2pm–5pm, Care UK’s Brook Court, on Oldnall Road, is welcoming the community to explore its newly refurbished shared spaces and gardens.

To mark the big reveal, residents, relatives and guests will be joined by the Town Mayor of Kidderminster, Councillor Doug Hine, for a celebratory afternoon.

Visitors are invited to enjoy delicious food and refreshments prepared by the home’s talented head chef, followed by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Adding to the excitement, local performer Karen Marsh will be entertaining guests with live music to get everyone’s toes tapping.

The new refurbishments include a welcoming café, a state-of-the-art cinema and beautifully landscaped gardens for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Brook Court is a state-of-the-art care home that provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. It features 67 en-suite bedrooms and has been designed to enable its residents to live active and fulfilling lives, while also promoting independence. The care home incorporates space for hobby and leisure activities and includes its own cinema, music room and activities area.
