From revision to results: Small Heath Leadership Academy pupils reap rewards on GCSE results day
Teachers and families join pupils at Small Heath Leadership Academy in celebrating their results and looking ahead to bright futures.
Among the many success stories, Aisha - one of several pupils to make exceptional progress – secured an impressive set of grades including three grade 9s (the highest possible grade) and three grade 8s. With a bright future ahead, Aisha looks forward to studying A levels in Chemistry, Maths and Physics. Also preparing to study the same subjects at A level is Eissa, whose strong results included a grade 9, a grade 8 and five grade 7s.
Looking forward to completing A levels in English Literature, Law and History, Adam is delighted after achieving three grade 9s and five grade 7s, while another standout success came from Asim, whose excellent results included six grade 9s, two grade 8s and a Distinction* in Sport Studies. Asim Naeem will now continue his studies by taking A levels in Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
Madiha, one of this year’s top performers, earned three grade 9s, five grade 8s and two grade 5s. She will go on to study A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
There was further cause for celebration for Mohammed. Mohammed showed unwavering determination and was rewarded with 10 GCSEs, including a grade 9, three grade 8s and three grade 7s.
Completing this year’s cohort of high achievers is Madiha, whose remarkable results included grade 9s in Maths and English Literature, seven grade 8s, one grade 7 and a Distinction in Health and Social Care. Madiha will now go on to study A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Sociology.
