Students at Windsor High School and Sixth Form in Halesowen celebrate a strong set of GCSE results
Students at Windsor High School and Sixth Form are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results.
After much hard work studying and preparing, students at the school, which is part of Windsor Academy Trust, are collecting a set of strong GCSE results and getting ready to take their next steps in their educational journey.

The school achieved well, with two thirds of students achieving the crucial pass in both English and Maths.

Subjects that saw particular success included English where over 100 grades were at Grade 7 and above. In Graphics, Statistics and Drama, 90% of students gained a Grade 4 or above. Overall there were 78 grade 9s - the highest and most aspirational grade possible
and over 700 grades were at grade 6 and above. In technical and vocational courses students did especially well in Hospitality and Catering where almost a third gained a Distinction or better. In addition students studying Sport, Health and Social Care and iMedia
excelled in the top grades for these subjects.
Windsor High School and Sixth Form students are now looking forward to progressing onto their chosen further education institutions, with many remaining at the school’s Sixth Form to study for A Levels and vocational qualifications.
While all students have done incredibly well, there are some standout individual achievements. These include:
Poppy Frost received 8 Grade 9s and 1 grade 8
Alexa Harrison received 6 Grade 9s and 3 Grade 8s
Sammy Kerdel received 5 Grade 9s, 2 Grade 8s, 1 Grade 7 and a Distinction*
