King Charles I School celebrate GCSE results following 'excellent year'
It has been an excellent year at King Charles I School with an exceptional set of GCSE results. Their achievement showcases the students’ hard work as well as the high-quality experience that studying at King Charles offers.
The star students this year were: Deryn Williams, Sangasanga Okonetuk, Charlie Childe, Corey Neri, Scarlett Pearson, Adam Crowther, Daniel Cwiertak, Leon Metzger Cooper, Morgan Ralph and Casey Mills. All of whom achieved at least 8 top 7-9 grades.
There were exceptional performances from Deryn Williams (nine grade 9s and a grade 8), Sangasanga Okonetuk (five grade 9s and four grade 8s) and Scarlett Pearson (three grade 9s and seven grade 8s),
Headteacher Jamie Butler said, “I am delighted for the students and very proud of what they have achieved. It was great to see so many smiling faces as they picked up their results. These results are down to the hard work and outstanding behaviour of our students, the high standard of teaching and the excellent relationships between staff and students.”
