Kidderminster’s Baxter College students celebrate exam results
Celebrations are taking place today as Kidderminster’s Baxter College students receive their GCSE and BTEC results and look forward to exciting next stages in their educational journeys.
The school – which was Worcestershire Secondary School of the Year 2023 – has seen a massive 10 per cent increase in the basic measures of English, maths and science and with many individual successes.
Delighted headteacher Katie Beech said: “We are so pleased for our students, whose hard work and dedication has paid off.

“There are numerous examples of effort, diligence and resilience in overcoming personal challenges and our students should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved both academically and in their personal development.

“They have followed the Baxter Way to become young people with huge potential, who will give a great deal to their communities.
“I am thrilled to welcome those who are continuing their education in our sixth form and wish them and others, who will either be following stimulating courses at other colleges or entering exciting apprenticeships, all the very best.”
Top performers include:

Kian Mair achieved all grade 7 and 8s, including grade 8 in English language, maths, science and art.

“They move on to the next chapter of their lives with a strong foundation, built on academic excellence, positivity and compassion.”
