President Alan informed the meeting of a special award of a cash donation of £672 to Lydia Forester Artistic Director for Seasons Theatre Group. Alan said that the club have been supporting Seasons, who are a fully inclusive group with some members who have learning disabilities, autism and Asperger’s, for the past few years. In May this year the group performed a special concert at the Gala Evening at St Georges Park as part of club’s Tripartite weekend, Rotarians from the German and French clubs traditionally make a cash donation to the host club for a project of their choosing. This year they were so impressed with the Seasons group’s performance that they suggested that their donation goes to support Seasons Theatre Group who clearly have a passion for what they do.
