Wolgarston High School celebrates outstanding A-Level results
Wolgarston High School is proud to announce another year of excellent A-level results, with students achieving an impressive average grade of B across all subjects.
Headteacher Dan Boden praised the hard work and resilience of students and staff alike: “We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements this year. An average grade of B reflects not only their dedication and determination but also the unwavering support from our teaching staff and families. These results open doors to exciting futures, whether in higher education, apprenticeships, or the world of work.”
This year’s results highlight the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence and student success. Many students have secured places at top universities and competitive courses, while others are embarking on exciting career pathways.

Wolgarston High School would like to specifically mention Emma Binns who secured 3A* in English Literature, French and History and has secured a place at Bristol to study Law and French. Alexander Ballance who secured 3A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and has secured a place at Manchester to study Pharmacy and Oliver Murray who got 2A* and 1 A has secured a place at Magdalen College, University of Oxford to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

The school are also immensely proud of the students who secured D*D* in their vocational qualifications Kacey O'Brien in Art, Aaron Heath, Rhianna Parsons and Nathan Proud in Business.
