Celebrating outstanding Post 16 results at TKAW – 2025

We are proud to announce another year of excellent Post 16 results at The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton, with students achieving strong outcomes across both A Level and Applied General Qualifications. This year’s results reflect the dedication, resilience, and ambition of our students, supported by the unwavering commitment of our staff.

This year saw a 100% pass rate across all subjects, with A Level students achieving an average grade of B- and a Value Added score of +0.08 (unvalidated), indicating above expected progress. Vocational (Applied General) results were also impressive, with an average grade of Merit= and a Value Added score of +0.17.

In A Levels, 82.8% of grades were at A*-C, and 56.7% were at A*-B. In Applied General qualifications, every student achieved at least a Pass, with 31.8% attaining Distinction or higher. Notably, students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) outperformed their peers, showcasing our commitment to ensuring that every student achieves and thrives.

Across subjects, there were a number of exceptional performances, reflecting clear year-on-year progress. World Languages achieved a perfect 100% of students attaining A*-B grades. Art produced outstanding results, with every student securing an A*. Notable improvements from last year have been seen in the Sciences, particularly in Chemistry and Physics, which each achieved a strong average grade of B=, with similarly strong results in Mathematics at B=. In the Humanities, Law demonstrated steady progress with several standout individual successes. Vocational courses such as Business BTEC and Digital Media also performed particularly well, with a high proportion of students meeting or exceeding their targets and producing work of exceptional quality.
