Taste of Himalayan wins Nepalese Restaurant of the Year at English Curry Awards
Taste of Himalayan, a much-loved Nepalese restaurant in Rowley Regis, has been crowned Nepalese Restaurant of the Year at the prestigious English Curry Awards.
Specialising in authentic Nepalese and Indian street food, the restaurant has become a local favourite, with its famous dumplings attracting customers from across the West Midlands and beyond.
Chef and Owner Tej Bhandari shared his excitement over the win: “This award means everything to us and reflects the hard work we put into our food. We value our customers deeply and strive to provide the best dining experience possible. I began my journey 30 years ago in India, working at many renowned restaurants, and in 2022 I launched Taste of Himalayan. It has been amazing to see so much support from our community.”
Bhandari also paid tribute to those who made the award possible: “A huge thank you to our wonderful customers and dedicated staff – we couldn’t have done it without you. You’ve made this dream a reality, and we are forever grateful. Here’s to many more years of creating great food and winning awards.”
