The President of The Rotary Club of Cannock Alan Matkin said “events like this evening can only help to improve the bonds of friendship between our clubs and show our guests that Rotary is much more than a community organisation and raising money it’s about making new friends and spending time together”

Overall competition winner was Chris Young from the Cannock club. Two great results from Rotarian wives with Louie Clegg winning the Croquet and Karen Gardiner winning the Cornhole.

The Cannock club has a very active year ahead which will include established events such as Santa collections but also new events. In April next year the Cannock club is planning to hold its biannual Sleep out event with the Rotary Club of Stafford, over recent years this event has help many people living in hostel style accommodation move into homes of their own.
