Woodlands Quaker Home celebrates 80 years of caring

Woodlands Quaker Home, a care home for older people, has been operating since 1945. The Grade II listed property at 434 Penn Road, Wolverhampton, was built in 1897 and was originally the family home of Neville Hanbury Mander. When the Second World War ended the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) purchased the property and established it as a care home for older people.
