Speaking at the launch event, Mr Juss said: “Wolves Foundation continues to be a shining example of how sport and community can come together to create real, lasting change. This strategy is not just ambitious; it’s rooted in the needs and aspirations of Wolverhampton. I’m proud to support an organisation that puts people first and works tirelessly to ensure opportunity reaches every corner of our city.”

The strategy is the result of a year-long consultation led by top consultants Remedy, involving stakeholders from across the Foundation’s work, including local authorities, supporters, and participants. It marks a significant milestone, coinciding with both the 150th anniversary of Wolverhampton Wanderers and the 20th anniversary of the Foundation becoming a registered charity.

Will Clowes, Director of Wolves Foundation, added: “We are both proud and excited to be sharing our new strategy, which is the most detailed and ambitious piece of work we have ever produced. If we can achieve the objectives within this strategy—and we are putting ourselves out there to be measured against them—then we will undoubtedly have played a significant role in the life of the city over these next five years.”

The launch event featured a panel discussion hosted by broadcaster and Foundation ambassador Amber Sandhu, with contributions from Mr Juss, Karl Henry, and representatives from the City of Wolverhampton Council, West Midlands Combined Authority, and the Premier League.

Mr Juss concluded: “This is a collective effort for the good of Wolverhampton. I look forward to working alongside Wolves Foundation and all our city partners to help deliver on these bold and inspiring goals.”
