Stourbridge poet/author/actor launches debut poetry book
Katie Victoria launched her debut Poetry Book, I Write Because… on Saturday, June 28 at The Drip Coffee Company in Wollaston, Stourbridge.
Attended by over 50 people, the night was a deemed a great success by all who attended, and it has provided Katie with a great launchpad for her burgeoning literary career.
Katie was also invited to attend and perform at two recent events.
On Sunday, July 27, Katie attended the “New Invention Summer Fest”, at The Milestone Pub, where she read some of her work, alongside other local writers/poets, including Saida Chowdhury, Lee Benson, Rosie Mitchell and Daniel S Martin.

On Saturday, August 2, Katie attended “Sounds in the Grounds” at the Arrow Valley Visitor Centre in Redditch, having been invited to perform in the “Poetry With Saida Chowdhury & Friends” slot.
More than 5000 people attended the event, and Katie was joined by Saida (host), Ian Henery (Compere), Cheryl Ann Boot, Charlotte MacDermott plus Faith and Pete Thompson, collectively known as Sabrina Poets.
