Tropical treat: Hawaiian day brings sunshine and smiles
Once again Hill Top Medical Centre in Oldbury has held another successful afternoon in the 'Chitter Chatter Group' which is going from strength to strength thanks to the hard work of Hill Top prescription clerks Judith Christian and Elaine Carter.
The theme of the afternoon group was an 'Hawaiian Day’, the patients who are members of the group all got well and truly into the theme of the day arriving in brightly coloured shirts and flower garlands around their necks. They had a tombola on the day all prizes were donated by the staff at the surgery and also members of the group with all funds raised going towards the groups Christmas meal. Tea and cakes on hand with pineapple and cheese on sticks for a more tropical treat!

The surgery could not be more proud of the turnaround that has happened in the last couple of years since the two new partners Dr Kalia and Dr Nagra took over the surgery, last year they not only received their well earned ‘GOOD’ CQC rating but also this year they are well and truly out off the bottom league in the patients surgery results which has been a true reflection that the changes that have happened are now really positively reflected in the way the patients are now seeing the surgery.

Elaine and Jude are always happy to welcome new members to their group so any patients that would like to join the group and be a fully fletched ‘chatterer’ then contact them for the date of the next group meeting its free of charge and you will be welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee , sweet treats, a fortnightly game of bingo with some lovely prizes and sometimes a good old sing song in between all the chattering and laughter.
No patient needs to feel lonely Hill Top is here for you if you need us!
