Solar panel investment sees Wrights Plastics cut over 300 tonnes of CO₂
Wrights Plastics has confirmed major carbon-cutting results following the installation of solar panels at its West Bromwich manufacturing HQ.

To date, the renewable energy investment has enabled the company to:
Reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by 317.66 tonnes
Save 127.44 tonnes of standard coal
Deliver an environmental impact equivalent to planting 176.48 trees
The figures highlight the success of Wrights Plastics’ wider sustainability strategy, which focuses on energy efficiency, reducing waste, and investing in more sustainable production methods.

The solar initiative is part of Wrights Plastics’ broader commitment to sustainable manufacturing, with additional investments in energy-saving equipment and process innovation across its operations.
