#CleanUpPensnett - Kids Planet Bromley campaign
At Kids Planet Bromley we have created a campaign to support the local community with helping clean up Pensnett. The children have invited special guests like the local MPs and the Mayor of Dudley to visit our nursery, to see what the future holds of supporting us to develop our campaign.
Our aim is to help support the council and local committees with cleaning up Pensnett and giving people more opportunities to come and help get involved in with our campaign. The children from the nursery has took it upon themselves to start this campaign due to doing local trips to the reserve to find litter scattered across the lake and beautiful surroundings.
One of our Udeskole leads Leanne from Kids Planet Bromely, has been in touch with the local MPs Steve Edwards and Karen Westwood for a visit which the children could ask questions to see how they could support us. They collected some small litter picks and purple bags to help our journey and helped organise our community litter pick which is happening on 8 August over the Fens Pool Nature Reserve.
The children have also been in touch with the local businesses around Pensnett to ask them to display a poster that they have created at nursery to help support the campaign.

Children and staff have worked so hard during the last few months, they also arranged a visit from the Mayor of Dudley but due to unfortunate circumstances, he had to cancel. This did not stop our children on the day of his visit, they had a tea party and spoke about their worries and concerns with the rubbish across the area.
We are trying to get our word across and get as many local people and business involved with our campaign. If you would like to help support us, please get in touch and we would highly appreciate anything whether this is advertising using our posters or coming along to support us on our litter pick.
