Community spirit shines at Stafford’s Party in the Park 2025
The 2025 Party in the Park, held recently at award-winning Victoria Park, Stafford, was a vibrant celebration of community, attracting an estimated 2,000–2,500 attendees for a day of family fun, live entertainment, and local engagement.
Organised in partnership with Stafford Borough Council and Freedom Leisure, one of the UK’s leading charitable not-for-profit leisure trusts, the event brought together families, community groups, and visitors from across the region. The day featured a lively mix of music, interactive activities, food stalls, and the ever-popular annual duck race on the River Sow.

Local dignitaries, including Stafford’s MP, Leigh Ingham and Councillor Jenny Barron, Mayor of Stafford Borough were in attendance, leading the ceremonial duck release, a highlight that delighted the crowd and generated a buzz on social media.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the turnout and the overwhelmingly positive response to this year’s Party in the Park,” said Alistair Gould, Area Manager for Freedom Leisure. “As a not-for-profit organisation, our mission is to support healthy, active communities – and events like this are a perfect example of how we can bring people together in a fun, inclusive, and meaningful way.”
